WHAT IS STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT?

Star Wars Battlefront is a multiplayer-only next-gen first and 3rd person shooter.(You can switch to between 1st and 3rd!) Developed by DICE and published by EA, Star Wars Battlefront is one of the most anticipated games of the year. Battlefront supports put to a massive 40-players at once or as low as 8, it all depends on what game mode you want to play.

Multiplayer Modes include Fighter Squadron, Supremacy, Cargo, Droid Run, Walker Assault, Blast, Drop Zone, Heroes Vs. Villains and Hero Hunt. That’s a total of 9 Modes which include DICE’s own take on classic game modes. For example, Blast is pretty much Team Deatchmatch while Supremacy is sort of like Domination. For a full detail on these game modes, check out the official site for details.

What most people need to know is that there is NO campaign in Star Wars Battlefront. No story mode. That may be a buzz kill for some of us who suck at multiplayer but keep in mind that with Star Wars: The Force Awakens hitting theaters this year, there really is no need for a campaign in Battlefront, especially given DICE’s poor effort on the Battlefield series campaign. There is however Missions such as Survival  and and Hero Battles, which can actually be played split screen co-op offline or online co-op. We do think there is something for everyone in this game, at least if you’re a Star Wars fan. It’s worth checking out and we encourage you to read some reviews and watch some gameplay on Twitch to decide for yourselves if this game is for you. Maybe the force be with you.
